Miss JOLENE's Wedding Day * *31st January 2010* * * Will be being JIE MEI for the First time tmr! Excited? * Of coz!!! * And our Dearest Bride to be has prepared Bridesmaid dresses for us! :)) * The Five of us(Jiemeis) have went for our Spa Mani & PediCure today afternoon! .The iPhone Trend. *  My iPod Touch & My Samsung Baby! :)) *  Seems like iPhone is super HOT in the market these days... * And I have many friends asking me: * So when are you buying an iPhone? * * Well, I dun think I will buy an iPhone, just becoz everyone is having one. =d * Firstly, * My current baby is still functioning very well. *touch wood* And I still love my Omnia baby as much as when I got it in Nov 2008. :)) * Still the same Sparks when I first saw and laid my hands on it. *smiles* * Moreover, I have my iPod Touch Baby tooo! :) * And he is only Three months older than my Samsung Baby! * Received my iPOD Touch baby for my Birthday Pressie in August 2008. * And I'm loving both equally very much! * I'm very contented with my Two Babies. =-) * * And I can use my iPod for Internet, Music, Games, Photos, even Videos, cos my memory in it is 32Gb! :p * Then my Phone is only for my Personal calling, texting and Scheduling my Appts. * * * * So....... * * Do I need an iPhone? * * Guess it is not a necessity to me. :) * * * Last pic of the weekend: *  Enjoying my ROYCE! *yums!* Labels: iPhone Craze. *My Busy Jan 2010* ^ ^ ^ Some pics from Jolene's Hen's Night last Saturday!~~~ ;) * *  One night stay in Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel! * -and the sweet decorations we did for our Darlin Jolene!- :))  The Jie-meis! =) *  You might have or might not have noticed, that this above pic's hotel room is different from the one we have decorated. Becoz, we had a Free Upgrade to a Studio Room!!! Much Spacious and Superior balcony view of Clarke Quay! :)) *  This is what I'm talking about! =) =) *  And of cos, showing off our MISSION Board for Jolene to acomplish! -all FIVE jie-meis' time & efforts are all in it!- :) And the outcome is soooo pretty, isnt it? =d *  Nes with the Stunning Bride-to-be! =) *  5 Jie-meis with Jolene dear!~~~* * It was a Huge Success for the Hen's Night! With the expected outcome: The HEN was drunk! =d * * * Alrights, Back to my schedules these days.... * its crazily madly packed! * I hardly have time for myself, everyday is just work, work and more work... (plus some dinners with friends) ;p * * Just the start of this week, my Company had our Cycle Meet held at Marriott Hotel! And it lasted for two days! * The food and all was good, had international buffet on Monday, and then Chinese Lunch at their Chinese restaurant there. * After the last meeting ytd, had company dinner at Wine & Company at Dempsey Hill! * * and a total of 8 bottles of Champage and Wine were opened! ----drinking like there's no tomorrows lo---- *faints* * its been quite some time since I drank so much wine... *keke* * * And so... today was super concussed! When you have a whole day of meeting from 8.30am to 5.30pm, then starts drinking from 6pm, all the way till 1130pm. And then, the next morning have to report to office at 8.30am!!! * =.= * Yes... I'm exhausted... deadly exhausted. * * But maybe there's something to make me happy for a moment... And that is ytd my manager said that: * Our whole team might be heading to.... PHUKET!!! for Team building in March! * * *Wheeeeeeeeee!* :)) * This is something I'm definitely looking forward to! *smiles* * * At least, in the midst of tiredness... * I can still smile... :) * * Its really so true... * When you find that everything seems so heavy on you now, some unexpected surprises may just pop out of nowhere... * and this is such Good news.... * -just nice for someone like me who loves surprises- =)) Labels: Busy Me. *Jolene's Hen's Night* * * Big EVENT today and tonight! ** The Bride to be: Miss JOLENE * will be treating us: HER FIVE BRIDESMAIDS!! * to a Fine High Tea Buffet at Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel today afternoon! :) * after which, her HEN PARTY will begin!!! * where she will be given "MISSIONS" to complete, creatively organised by her lovely FIVE Jie-meis! *evil smile* ;) * well, after all... You will only be single once, so this is the Night where you will be of SINGLE status til two weeks later, you will then be OFFICIALLY MARRIED! * And so, we will definitely make this an UNFORGETTABLE Night in yr Life Time! All the Best Darlin! =D *heeeheee* * * * Nes thots: * * * Thinking of the number of wedding invitations I received from Nov 2009 until now, I just received my 4th one two days ago! * And it seems like from Dec 2009, where I attended TWO weddings: Mona and Estella's wedding. * then coming this (Jan)month end will be: CMAJ Bestie-Jolene's wedding. Next Month(Feb): Poly classmate-Ziying's wedding. And then in April: Ex-colleague-Jennifer's wedding. * Seems like almost every month, I will be attending weddings. *haha* * Then Yesterday! One of my another Poly mate:Rachel just told me she just booked me for her wedding! .Story of a Butterfly. A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day, a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further... So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time... Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.... Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. : We could never fly! : PS: Just to share what this story teaches us: Be patient and dun rush things. When the timing is not right, the outcome will come out vastly different and very unexpected. Sometimes, God wants to test and make us learn by putting different trials in our lives, to allow us to grow in our character slowly and become a better person. * So learn to be patient and allow everything to fall nicely in God's timing. :) Labels: Butterfly story. HAPPY NEW 2010 to Everyone!!! * I'm up early today! :)) It's 10am on a New Year's Day! * Great Day to wake up to! =) * I can smell the Freshness of the NEW YEAR alrdy! *heehee* * And I'm heading to Barnacles at Rasa Sentosa for our New Year Brunch in 15mins! Specially reserved this New Year Brunch for my Family on today! *01.01.2010* * Start of the our New Year for some Great Seafood! :)) * * Then after our Sumptous Brunch Buffet, we will head to JB!
